Important Information For Travel Support
You must apply for travel support for the new academic year by 15 May 2026 to ensure support is in place for the start of the school year. All applications for travel support beginning in September 2026 must be submitted by this deadline.

IMPORTANT: Please note that we cannot guarantee that travel support for eligible students will be in place for the start of the new academic year for any applications received after 15 May 2026.

Important Information For School Admissions:

School admission applications can be made for these pupils:-
* Primary admission - starting school for the first time to join Reception Year in September 2026*
* Secondary admission - transferring from primary school to join Year 7 at secondary school in September 2026*

*Please note the national closing dates shown above that apply to these applications. It is NOT possible for you to apply via the Citizen Portal after the national closing dates have passed. Go to www.sefton.gov.uk/startingschool for more details.
