To use this site you will need to register first by confirming a few personal details and verfiying your email address. After registering you will be able to submit and view applications for a school place. Applications can be made for:
- Primary & Secondary School Admissions*
From 1st September 2023 you will be able to apply for places and view applications on line for Admissions to Reception (starting school for the first time in September 2024) and also for Secondary School Admissions (moving from Primary to Year 7 in September 2024).
The closing date for applications for Secondary School Admissions in September 2024 is 31 October 2023. The closing date for applications for Admissions to Reception September 2024 is 15 January 2024.
*Please note the National closing dates that apply to these applications. It is NOT possible for you to apply via the Citizen Portal after the national closing dates have passed. Go to www.sefton.gov.uk/schooladmissions for more details.
For Admissions to Reception and Secondary School Admissions for September 2024 entry you will be able to view your offer of a school place online on the relevant National Offer Days. The applicable dates are in March for Secondary School Admissions and in April for Admissions to Reception Please refer to our website for further details about National Offer Day. www.sefton.gov.uk/schooladmissions

Please note that In Year Admission - School Transfer applications (for reasons other than a change of address) - are not yet available via the Citizen Portal.
